Our Services
-
Let’s dream a little about what your space could become.
During this one-hour, in-home consultation, we’ll walk through your space together, talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and where you’d love to take it. We’ll get to know your style, your priorities, and how you want the space to feel and function—then share thoughtful ideas and recommendations along the way.
We’ll typically discuss:
Your style, lifestyle, and preferences
Furnishings, finishes, and ideas you’re already considering
What you love about your space—and what you’d like to change
Project priorities
Timeline
Budget
After our consultation, we’ll put together a detailed proposal outlining the design services we recommend and a clear path for moving forward. The fee for a design consult is $200.

Flexible, Hourly Design Support
Sometimes you don’t need a full-service design package—you just need a little expert guidance to help everything fall into place.
Storybook Select is our flexible, hourly design service created for smaller projects, focused decisions, and those moments when you’d love a designer in your corner without committing to a larger scope.
We can jump in wherever you need us, whether that means designing a room virtually, helping you narrow down finishes for a renovation, sourcing the perfect light fixture, or simply giving you confidence in a decision you’ve been stuck on.
Storybook Select may include:
Virtual room design
Furniture, lighting, art, and décor selections
Paint and color guidance
Tile, countertop, flooring, and finish selections
Plumbing, hardware, and fixture selections
Space planning and layout guidance
Window treatment recommendations
Individual product sourcing
Styling and finishing touches
Design guidance for a specific question or project
The beauty of Storybook Select is its flexibility. We tailor our time to exactly what your project needs—whether that’s one selection, one room, or a handful of decisions along the way.
It’s thoughtful, personalized design support, à la carte.

Whether we’re renovating a kitchen, reimagining a bathroom, furnishing a new home, or bringing several spaces together, we take care of the many moving pieces along the way. From developing the design and selecting materials to sourcing, procurement, contractor coordination, and installation, we keep the big picture in mind while managing the details that bring it all to life.
Most importantly, every decision is made with you at the center—your style, your needs, and the way you want to live in your home.

Storybook House’s fees are made up of a mix of Hourly and Flat Fee services. During our Proposal Review call, we’ll go into detail about the service fees that have been customized for your project and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions or request revisions so that we can make sure your project is tailored to you and your needs. Each project includes a set of design deliverables and pre-determined number of revisions. After the initial consult ($200), expect to receive an estimate for your project based on our conversation, which we will typically review together on a Proposal Review phone call.

Yes, you will need to hire a general contractor for any construction, remodeling, or installation work. While Storybook House does not provide general contracting services, I collaborate closely with your contractor to ensure the design is executed seamlessly. I am happy to introduce you to our trusted contractors and offer guidance on selecting the best contractor for your unique project. Throughout the construction process, I work closely with the contractor to advocate for the design vision, communicate specifications and finishes, and remain available to answer questions, provide on-site visits, and troubleshoot any design-related challenges.
-
Based on your project requirements, your timeline, the contractors availability, and the number of revisions required, we will work together to establish a realistic timeline for your project. After the initial consult and once we have agreed to the scope of the services, we will discuss an estimated timeline.
